There is already a 1 year old implementation of this in here: http://sannotations.sourceforge.net
It was sent as a contribution to spring framework and they told that it would not be included in the spring core, the project was started, and now they create another implementation (even the code being very similar), but their implementation for now, looks like a crippled version of Spring-Annotations.
And even since I sent the idea to be implemented before they announce Pitchfork last year, now they claim that this configuration option for spring is their idea.
